In our society, the typical age of first autism diagnosis is between four and five years of age. ADHD has been identified in children as young as three. Some people struggle through life and are not identified as having adult autism or adult ADHD until well into adulthood. The unfortunate reality we face is that some doctors do not believe adult ADHD is a real situation and almost every ADHD and autism program we’ve encountered is geared towards youth and adolescents. Once we turned 18 and became an “adult”, we were on our own.
Many people with adult ADHD or adult autism feel that their deck of cards is stacked against them and life’s experiences have shown them they will always struggle. We’re here to help with adult ADHD coaching and adult autism coaching for adults and executives with real-world assistance provided by staff with first-hand experience with adult ADHD and adult autism.
ADHD is highly genetic. If your kids have ADHD, then there is a good chance you or your partner could have ADHD. You or your partner could benefit from adult ADHD coaching if you struggle with restlessness, organization, time management, focus, distractibility, or forgetfulness. Without frameworks and strategies, relationships can struggle and experience problems.
When one partner in a relationship has adult ADHD, the non-ADHD partner may experience anger and frustration with the their partner and the relationship. Ownership of one’s feelings and letting go of the false pretense that all the problems are “the other partner’s fault” is an important first step in rediscovering why the two if you fell in love and rebuilding the relationship. Adult ADHD coaching can help both partners rediscover the joy in their relationship.
The fields of adult ADHD coaching and adult autism coaching are only now being realized as necessary and helpful. As with any emerging area of expertise, resources can be limited at times. Misdiagnosis and failure to diagnose can be due to existing misconceptions and prejudices about the conditions, and limited exposure and training on the part of medical and mental health providers, especially in the case when working with adults. You do not need to have a formal diagnosis of ADHD or autism to work with a coach. Our frameworks and strategies can help bring additional order and success to your life in and around Denver.

Life is comprised of multiple layers of overlapping— and sometimes conflicting— relationships. No matter how hard those of us with autism might try to avoid them, we encounter them everywhere. Adult ADHD can have dramatic effects on relationships for both partners.
Navigating these relationships can be scary, frustrating, and even satisfying. Sometimes we just cannot understand others and why they place the importance on interactions. A third-party perspective can help you redefine your comfort.
We work with clients for so much more than only romantic relationships. Finding success in work and interpersonal relationships can renew life satisfaction.
Our coaches work with you to identify the skills you feel you need to make your relationships work for you. Together, we set realistic and incremental goals to enhance executive skills and improve self-regulation and self-soothing. We help you erect scaffolding to assist you with “all those things you forget to do”. Our goal is to make you more successful in the ways you feel are important.
Many people with adult ADHD or adult autism have experienced failure for the greater part of their lives: we’re always letting people down because we are not what others want us to be. All that we did do was never good enough. Many of us are scared to try again, only to disappoint everyone around us. We help reshape these experiences and set healthier expectations going forward.
